Foil Stamping
Foil stamping is the application of foil (a special film-backed material) to paper. A heated die is stamped onto the foil, pressing it into the paper and leaving the design of the die on the stock. Foil stamping can be combined with embossing to create a more striking 3 dimensional image. Foils are available in numerous colors and finishes ranging from matte to shiny to holographic. The process has several desirable features:
It may be used on different & heavier stocks than traditional printing.
A darker stock choice may be utilized with a lighter color, such as white foil stamping on a burgundy cover stock.
Customized foil stamping is suited for business cards, company or personal stationery, presentation folders and report covers, to name a few.
Die
High quality metal dies are used for foil stamping, embossing and debossing. They are produced from print ready artwork supplied by you or designed by our graphic designer.

Embossing
The creation of a three-dimensional design or image on paper is known as embossing. Heat and pressure combine to reshape the surface of the paper to create the image. Embossing may be done blind (just the color of the stock with no ink or foil) or registered (which uses ink or foil to create special effects).
Embossing is suited for stationery, business cards, memo pads, invitations and pocket folders. Corporate logos and monograms look very elegant when embossed.
